If you're a regular reader here, probably you have read that I received a check from AdBrite. Actually it's my first dollar check because most of the payment I got goes thru PayPal, Western Union or checks in local currency.
But my problem is how can I encash that AdBrite check if I don't have a dollar account here? So I'm planning that I will sign-up for a dollar account in MetroBank. I will use all the 'dollar bills' that I get from Google Adsense thru Western Union. Yes! I get my earnings from Adsense in US dollars, for example I earn $132.00 for the month. I will opt to received the $100 in US$ and the remaining $32 will be the one which will be converted to Philippine Pesos. Why I do this? So that I will not spend it that easily!
Actually I should have $600 dollar bills now, but on my second payment that WU agent convinced me to received it 'all' in pesos, which I did! You know I'm easy to convince :) Anyway the minimum maintaining balance at MetroBank is $500 so I'm opening an account at them SOON.
